HSS Appoints Kevin Murphy as New EVP & Division CFO

USA, Atlanta, Georgia. September 07, 2023

Hospitality Staffing Solutions, LLC (HSS), the nation's leading hospitality staffing and outsourced solutions provider, has appointed Kevin Murphy to take over leadership of the company from outgoing President Tim McPherson, who is retiring after seven years. HSS is a KBS company.

Murphy, who has more than 25 years of management experience, has been with HSS since 2014, previously serving as the company's SVP of Finance. Prior to HSS, he served in senior leadership roles with ChoicePoint and Signature Information Solutions LLC, a division of LexisNexis.

"Kevin has a deep understanding of the complex operating environment our clients face and is the perfect fit to lead HSS into the future," said McPherson. "I look forward to seeing Kevin expand upon the company's status as one of the top hospitality staffing firms in the nation."

In June, HSS was named as one of the largest staffing firms in the US by Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA), a prominent research and advisory firm focused on staffing and workplace solutions. In February, ClearlyRated named the company a winner of its Best of Staffing Award for its continued service excellence. HSS was acquired by KBS in early 2020.
