Hotel Dena, Pasadena Los Angeles, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel has officially opened its doors. The 311-room hotel is designed for those with an imaginative spirit, featuring touchpoints of art, dance, music, and culture. The hotel is ideally located in the heart of downtown Pasadena's creative scene, just steps from iconic institutions like the Pasadena Civic Auditorium, Pasadena Convention Center, and Old Town Pasadena, and it is only 20 minutes from the Hollywood Burbank Airport. Hotel Dena is part of the Tribute Portfolio - part of Marriott Bonvoy's global portfolio of 31 extraordinary hotel brands - and aims to attract travelers looking for fresh experiences that reflect their own individuality. Dash Design was tapped to oversee the interior design and art curation for Hotel Dena. WRDSMITH©, an LA-based street artist who utilizes colorful and mindfully chosen words to inspire others, created a lobby mural and signature guest room art. Large-scale outdoor murals featuring music and dance were hand-painted by artists Ian Schuler and Leah Tumerman. Artist Kate Neckel developed Pasadena-inspired wall coverings for each corridor of the property, and wooden sound wave art in the lobby area by artist Erin Harris captures Van Halen's hit song ‘Jump.'

The inspiration for the delectable menu is derived from the lyrical genius of musicians and poets, paying homage to the rebellious spirit of rock and roll, alternative vibes, and hip-hop beats. Boasting a vast vinyl record collection and musically charged art and design, Lyric creates an environment that allows guests to fuel up while grooving to morning sounds of renowned artists. The 44-seat venue also offers a pet-friendly poolside patio, where guests can soak up the California sun. Starting this fall, fur-family members can indulge in the exclusive "Let the Dogs Out" menu of puppucinos and break-ruff bowls.
As the sun sets, Hotel Dena's bespoke bar and lounge, Agents Only, comes to life, delivering an electrifying experience that stirs up the seduction of fame. This 42-seat haunt is the perfect place for guests to let loose and embrace their inner spark, surrounded by a vintage TV art installation by Media Pollution and a captivating speaker wall. A plethora of mesmerizing weekly live performances will keep guests on the edge of their seats, ranging from experimental beats and open mics to stand-up comedy and karaoke. Agents Only features attention-seeking cocktails crafted by Liquid Productions, a full-service beverage agency, and flavor-forward dishes are available daily from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. A daily "Casting Call" happy hour is available from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
