Tropicana Promotes Jules Vorndran to SVP Casino Marketing

NOVEMBER 27, 2007. The Tropicana Casino And Resort is proud to announce the promotion of Jules Vorndran from Vice President of Customer Development to Senior Vice President of Casino Marketing. In his new role, Vorndran will oversee table game and slot player development, Asian marketing efforts and the casino host team at the Tropicana.

Vorndran has enjoyed 22 successful years in the gaming industry, 21 of which were spent in the highly-competitive world of Casino Marketing. He joined the Tropicana Casino & Resort in 2004 as Vice President of Customer Development, and has lent his unique vision, insights and marketing savvy to the Tropicana team ever since.

"I feel that I have worked with some of the strongest leaders in the gaming industry over my career and want to apply the knowledge and experience I've collected to my new position at the Tropicana," Vorndran said.

His first foray into the industry began in 1985 at the resort formerly known as Trump's Castle, where he worked as a clerk in the Junket Program. Vorndran quickly worked his way up the ladder to the position of Branch Office Manager.

In 1990, he accepted a position of Executive Casino Host at Resorts Casino Hotel. Four years later, he made a move to Bally's Park Place as Director of Table Games Marketing. Vorndran also held the position of Executive Director of Player Development at Bally's.

Vorndran is a graduate of West Deptford High School and attended Camden County College and West Chester University. He currently resides in Sewell, New Jersey, with his fianc'ee Sherry Amos, 14-year-old son Zachary and 12-year-old daughter Morgan. In his free time, he enjoys biking, playing golf, visiting the beach, and spending time with the family.
