April Opening Planned for the Riding Academy Hotel in Ocala, Florida
Joining The Equestrian Hotel on the World Equestrian Center campus in Ocala, Florida, The Riding Academy Hotel — set to open April 1 — will offer 390 additional rooms and suites to visitors looking to stay on-site and experience what has often been called "Disneyland for horse lovers."
Guests will feel right at home in The Riding Academy Hotel, which offers many similarities to its luxurious sister hotel on property while embracing a unique identity of its own. Subtle equestrian and academic design details have been thoughtfully placed throughout the hotel, including equestrian-inspired carpet, stirrup sconces and custom trophy lamps in the guestrooms.
The pet-friendly hotel will include expansive, upscale accommodations with separate sleeping and living quarters and desirable in-room amenities, such as coffee makers, Sub-Zero refrigerators and pull-out sleeper sofas.
Nowhere is the French countryside more apparent than the pool area surrounded by Live Oak trees and lush gardens. The large pool features a splash pad and outdoor fireplace. Guests can enjoy the outdoor pool and sundeck, dual fitness centers, and lobby marketplace playfully dubbed "The Tack Room", all just a golf-cart-ride away from the thriving complex center, which boasts seven restaurants, a resort spa, more than two dozen shops, boutiques, and of course, expansive equestrian competition arenas.
