JetBlue Links Boston to Caribbean

. October 14, 2008

BOSTON, MA, September 27, 2006. JetBlue Airways is expanding its Caribbean network with daily nonstop service between Boston's Logan International Airport and San Juan, Puerto Rico, effective December 13.

Flights to San Juan, the low-fare carrier's 22nd destination served nonstop from Boston, will operate for the peak winter season through April 30, 2007.

JetBlue offers fares ranging between $109(a) and $349(a) each way between Boston and San Juan.

"JetBlue's new service between Boston and San Juan comes just in time, right before the snow starts falling," said David Neeleman, JetBlue's CEO.

"Our new low-fare flights to San Juan, which complement existing year-round service to sunny spots in the Bahamas, Florida, California, Arizona and Nevada, are a result of our customers telling us where they want us to fly. We look forward to welcoming you on board this new service."

"As we continue to develop Puerto Rico's tourism product and build toward the future, air access is a main objective of our Strategic Plan. It is crucial for consumers to be able to reach our island with convenience and affordability so that they can truly explore and discover what we have to offer as far as culture, history and activities," said Puerto Rico Tourism Company Executive Director Terestella Gonzalez Denton.

"JetBlue has been a valued partner in building air lift from key markets, including New York and Boston, and their dedication to Puerto Rico has been a major reason for our success, not only in San Juan, but also in Porta del Sol and Ponce."

In Boston -- JetBlue's second largest base of operation -- connecting service is available to ten cities throughout the Northeast and West, providing even more flight options for customers traveling from the mainland and Puerto Rico.

In addition to the low-fare carrier's new seasonal nonstop service, JetBlue provides Boston customers with convenient connecting service to three cities in Puerto Rico year-round. The airline already serves San Juan, Aguadilla and Ponce from its hometown airport, New York's JFK, with additional nonstop service to San Juan and Aguadilla from Orlando International Airport.

Low fares aren't all that JetBlue customers traveling between Boston and San Juan can look forward to: they'll also enjoy a selection of complimentary first-run movies and bonus features from FOX InFlight(tm)(b) on their seat-back televisions, while sitting in a comfy all-leather seat with industry-leading legroom.

Service to San Juan will be operated with JetBlue's A320 fleet.

Members of JetBlue's customer loyalty program, TrueBlue, will receive six points per flight, with double points awarded for purchasing online at www.jetblue.com . Customers can earn TrueBlue points even faster by using the JetBlue Card from American Express.

Every time cardholders purchase JetBlue travel with the Card, or earn at least one TrueBlue point through other purchasing using the Card, all TrueBlue points in the member's account automatically extend for another 12 months.
