Le Meridien Minneapolis to be Re-Branded

LONDON, UK, July 26, 2005. London-based Le M'eridien Hotels & Resorts has today confirmed that the 255-bedroom Le M'eridien Minneapolis, will no longer be operating under the Le M'eridien brand, effective August 1, 2005.

Commenting, Le M'eridien CEO Robert Riley said: "I'd like to thank everyone on the property for making Le M'eridien Minneapolis such a success. This stylish hotel has won many awards and acclaim since opening in March 2003. We wish everyone in the hotel and Graves Hospitality a successful future."

Le M'eridien's continues to add new properties to its existing portfolio including Le M'eridien Sunny Isles Beach in Miami, a beachfront property comprising 210 one and two bedroom suites, which opened in May this year. Twenty-two new properties are in the pipeline to open during 2005 and beyond, the most recent addition being the 179-bedroom Le M'eridien Dublin due to open at the end of next year in part of the Grand Canal Dock re-development.
