Waterford Appoints GM for Courtyard By Marriott Norwich
OOCTOBER 15, 2007. Waterford Hotel Group has announced the appointment of Tina Fleming as general manager of the Courtyard by Marriott in Norwich, CT . As general manager, Fleming will be responsible for all phases of the hotel's operations, sales and administration, including the management of approximately 50 associates. Waterford Hotel Group, Inc., a national hotel management firm, professionally manages the 120-room hotel.
Fleming joined Waterford in 2002 as director of sales for the Residence Inn by Marriott in Burlington, VT. Her past experience includes director of sales at the Residence Inn Denver Tech Center in Denver, CO, and evening hotel manager/VIP guest services at the Colony Hotel in Palm Beach, FL. Fleming most recently served as general manager for the Residence Inn by Marriott and Whitehall Mansion, both in Mystic, CT.
In addition to her hospitality management experience, Fleming is a graduate of Waterford's Penn State Leadership Series, a management certificate program offered to company managers.
