Chef Emeril Lagasse Opening Table 10 at The Palazzo

. October 14, 2008

LAS VEGAS, NV, October 8, 2007. World-renowned chef and restaurateur Chef Emeril Lagasse announced that he will open his newest restaurant Table 10 in January 2008 at The Palazzo in Las Vegas. The Palazzo is a stand-alone resort currently being built by Las Vegas Sands Corp, adjacent to The Venetian.

Table 10 is Lagasse's third restaurant in Las Vegas. Lagasse's other venues, Delmonico Steakhouse and Emeril's New Orleans Fish House, have received critical acclaim, including top honors from Wine Spectator magazine.

The name Table 10 is synonymous with the spirit of Emeril's restaurants. This spirit began over 17 years ago, at a modest table in an unassuming building on the edge of downtown New Orleans. The red brick warehouse space would soon become an award-winning fine dining establishment, and Chef Emeril would soon become a household name.

Daily rituals were performed at this table (numbered 10 on the floor plan) -- reviewing blueprints, developing menus, interviewing staff and discussing plans -- as they prepared for the opening of Lagasse's first restaurant, Emeril's. When the restaurant doors opened on March 24, 1990, every evening was ended at Table 10, and it became a roundtable of lively conversations and a creative environment for new ideas.

"At its essence, Table 10 represents the warmth and camaraderie of working together as a team in the restaurant business," says Emeril Lagasse. "It's where our day would start, and where we'd unwind at the end of a long night of working in the restaurant. It was an open forum to discuss ideas, reflect on service that day, and create new dishes and wine pairings. I can't wait for everyone to see what we've got planned for this restaurant."
