Torgerson Names VP Food and Beverage
MINNEAPOLIS, MN, October 4, 2007. Torgerson Properties, a Minnesota-based developer, owner and operator of hotels and restaurants, announces that Joe Kohaut has joined Torgerson Properties as vice president of food and beverage.
In his new role, Kohaut will have overall responsibility for Torgerson Properties' restaurant division and its nine restaurants throughout the state of Minnesota.

Kohaut has over 30 years of experience in the restaurant industry, starting his management career with Ground Round Restaurants and subsequently serving in a number of progressive senior management positions with Chi Chi's Mexican Restaurants and Panda Management.
Kohaut played an instrumental role in the growth of the Buca di Beppo restaurant chain and helped to create their highly successful Paisano Partner program. Kohaut held several positions at Buca di Beppo, including chief operating officer, and senior vice president of food and beverage and purchasing. Immediately prior to joining Torgerson Properties, Kohaut was with Chatterbox Restaurants. He has a degree in hotel and restaurant management from Johnson and Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island.
