Mike Donald Named Interim CRDE President
SEPTEMBER 7, 2007. Mike Donald, the Chief Financial Officer of the Choctaw Resort Development Enterprise (CRDE), a business enterprise of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians which markets itself as Pearl River Resort, has been appointed its interim President. Chuck Miller resigned as president effective Aug. 28, 2007 to pursue other interests.
"The board is confident in Mike's experience and proficiency to step in and take the helm of the Tribe's gaming and resort businesses," said Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians chief, Miko Beasley Denson. "We continue to have a strong management team and are certain in their ability to make this a smooth transition."
Miko Denson said that a search for a new executive is still ongoing. Donald has been employed by the tribe for the past 11 years and has led the resort's financial department for 6 of those years.
Pearl River Resort, located on Hwy. 16 W. in Choctaw, Miss. is a development of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians.
