Roger Leva and Jim Bryson Join Budgetel

AUGUST 23, 2007. Budgetel Franchise System has named respected hotel veterans to two key management positions.

Rajesh "Roger" Leva becomes a member of the senior executive team as Corporate Secretary, with responsibility for coordinating essential administrative matters, notably communications with the board, senior management, and shareholders.

Leva brings more than 20 years of hospitality experience to the position, including as a hotel owner in Alabama and as a board member of the Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA) and American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA). He is a certified hotel administrator (CHA) and earned his undergraduate degree in finance at Birmingham University in England, while earning his M.B.A. in finance and marketing from an affiliate of the University of Pennsylvania.

Jim Bryson joins Budgetel as managing director for franchise development in the Mid-Atlantic Region, responsible for the growth of franchised properties in Ohio, Illinois, Wisconsin, Kentucky, Virginia, Missouri, and a portion of the northeast United States.

Bryson has more than 40 years of experience in hotel management and franchise development, having served most recently as regional vice president of membership development for America's Best Value Inns, based in Knoxville, Tennessee. He has also served as national director of franchise development for Sholodge Inc. in Henderson, Tennessee and as director of franchise sales for Cendant Corporation's Super 8 brand.
