UNLV Creates One Hour Webinars for Busy Professionals

. October 14, 2008

LAS VEGAS, NV, July 18, 2007. Webinars will be presented by UNLV faculty and distinguished faculty from other prominent hotel colleges, as well as by leading industry professionals.

Each webinar explores a specific topic area and is designed to be a stand-alone learning experience. In one hour, on your computer, you can learn specific, relevant information to enhance your performance.

Topic categories include hotel management, hotel marketing, food and beverage, meetings, events and entertainment. Information on the topics and presenters is available at: http://hotel.unlv.edu/hotelweb/

Registrations are being accepted now for all courses. Online instruction begins on July 26, 2007. All courses are delivered online using WebEx. Each course will provide interactive and hands-on tools that will enable managers to walk away with new strategies and techniques. For more information: [email protected]

Each presenter was asked to self-select their topics in an area that they are passionate about - the lectures they look forward to presenting either in the classroom or at industry conventions held by major industry associations. This will ensure that the presenters are experts in the topic and not someone that was asked to present on a specific topic and researched it for the presentation.

You can participate from work, home or Starbuck's. If you are in a hotel, you can view it in a boardroom or meeting room on a big screen with your whole staff.

We can customize webinars for individual organizations, where questions to the presenter can focus on your particular circumstances and situations. And, your organization leaders can be spread all over the world.

UNLV is educating the world in hospitality. Founded in 1967, the Harrah College of Hotel Administration is recognized as a world leader in this area. For more information, visit http://hotel.unlv.edu/.
