Tropicana Announces South Tower Room Renovation
JULY 5, 2007. The Tropicana Casino & Resort announced today more than $15 million in hotel renovations is completed in the South Tower. The South Tower, featuring 507 rooms and 17 floors, has undergone a complete makeover with hallways and rooms benefiting from the renovations.
"As one of the premiere destination resorts in Atlantic City, it was important for us to renovate the South Tower to continue providing our guests with luxurious accommodation to complement the top-notch amenities offered throughout the hotel, casino and The Quarter," said Mark Giannantonio, Executive Vice President of Operations. "The South Tower rooms further encompass the vibe of The Quarter, evoking a causal but elegant atmosphere that will immediately put guests at ease. Our goal was to create a space that was comfortable for all of our guests, but still resonated a feeling of elegance."
South Tower is renovated to embody The Quarter feel and create a refreshing setting within each room. Decorated with rich, dark woods paired with a soothing color scheme of greens, tans and whites, the standard rooms featuring large televisions in each room, exaggerated bathrooms with showers for two, lavish bedding with Simmons Beautyrest Super Pillowtop mattresses, high speed Internet access and more.
With the completion of the South Tower, every hotel room on property has been renovated or undergone upgrades within the last three years. The Havana Tower was debuted in November of 2004 and the North Tower rooms completed renovations in 2006.
