BWIA Chief to Close CTO Conference
OCTOBER 6, 2006. Peter Davies, CEO of BWIA, will deliver the closing address at the Caribbean Tourism Organization's 29th annual Caribbean Tourism Conference set for Oct. 22 to 25 on Grand Bahama Island.
Davies will address the state of the Caribbean airline industry as well as the changes taking place at BWIA as it transitions into the new Caribbean Airlines on Jan. 1.
Davies was named CEO of BWIA last March and he will oversee the shutdown of BWIA by Dec. 31 and the start of the new carrier. Prior to joining BWIA, Davies served as CEO of SN Brussels Airlines for three years.
