HSMAI Conference To Feature Web Reports

OCTOBER 9, 2006. Delivering a powerful punch of rich resources, metrics and satisfaction benchmarks, the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI) will feature three new Internet marketing reports, jointly published by the HSMAI Foundation, at the HSMAI Travel Internet Marketing Strategy Conference on Dec. 6 in South Florida.

Themed "New Intelligence for the E-Marketplace," the comprehensive day-long agenda will take place immediately following the annual HEDNA Conference at the Trump Sonesta Beach Resort in Sunny Isles, FL. "We are pleased to present this trio of ground-breaking and 'hands-on' special reports, which are focused on crucial issues that impact the entire hospitality industry," said Robert A. Gilbert, CHME, CHA, president and CEO of HSMAI.

HSMAI & TIA Internet Marketing Metrics Feasibility Study

This collaborative research project between the HSMAI Internet Marketing Advisory Board and the Travel Industry Association of America eCommerce Committee identifies a way to compare the results of interactive marketing initiatives within the travel industry. Lessons learned from the feasibility study will be presented by Suzanne Cook, senior vice president, research, Travel Industry Association, and Cindy Estis Green, managing partner, The Estis Group.

TIG Global Special Report - Profits and Pitfalls of Online Marketing: A Legal Desk Reference for Travel Executive:

This new TIG Global Special Report examines the increasingly important challenge travel executives face in managing their invaluable brands, trademarks, and other intellectual property in the dynamic digital landscape. HSMAI & iPerceptions Travel Customer Satisfaction Report:

The first-ever edition of a unique quarterly web metrics reports includes experience and satisfaction benchmarks for the growing online marketplace in the hospitality industry. The initial report includes aggregated travel and hospitality industry data based on feedback from web site visitors in the context of their actual web site visits. In total, HSMAI and iPerceptions will publish four quarterly web site visitor satisfaction and experience reports as well as four related feature articles providing HSMAI members and the general business community with valuable insights, benchmarks and trends in visitor satisfaction and experience at hospitality-related web sites.
