Settle Inn Franchise Agreement Includes Training by Signature Worldwide

COLUMBUS, OH, October 9, 2006. Like no other franchise, Settle Inn LLC, as part of its re-branding strategy, requires all franchisees to undergo training by Signature Worldwide, the leading provider of training solutions for the hospitality industry.

"I've been in the training business for a long time, and I don't know of any other franchise that has made this type of commitment, ensuring hotel owners have the training programs they need to be successful in making more reservations and delighting guests," said Signature Founder and Chairman Don Farrell.

Senior Vice President of Brand Management Tim O'Connor wanted to differentiate Settle Inn & Suites from other chains by offering distinctive customer service and knew a partnership with Signature would do just that.

"Because I believe so strongly in Signature's unique style of teaching and reinforcement, mixed with great measurement and coaching tools, I insisted that our company's Chief Executive Officer Brendan Watters make the program a part of the franchise agreement."

Employees in the areas of reservations and guest services of Settle Inn franchises will receive a full day of customer service and sales training, supported with ongoing mystery shopping and coaching. Signature trainers will return to the hotels three times throughout the year to train new employees and move the sales and service skills of existing employees to the next level.
