SAN FRANCISCO, CA, June 18, 2007. Chip Conley, founder and CEO of Joie de Vivre Hospitality, is pleased to announce the appointment of Euan Taylor as the new managing director for Hotel Vitale, San Francisco's newest luxury waterfront hotel.
As managing director, Taylor will oversee every aspect of hotel operations for the 199-room property. This will encompass leading the overall guest service, sales and marketing, and operations management for Hotel Vitale and Americano restaurant, ensuring continued success in the San Francisco hotel market.

Taylor comes to Hotel Vitale from Marriott International where he served as hotel manager at Grosvenor House in London. Prior to managing Grosvenor House, Taylor was the executive assistant manager at the Fairmont Turnberry Isle Resort and Club in Miami. He previously spent four years with Starwood at St. Regis Monarch Beach in California and the Westin Turnberry in Scotland. He has also worked at several properties operated by Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts.
