Orlando CVB Promotes Larry Henrichs to COO
ORLANDO, FL, May 29, 2007. The Orlando/Orange County Convention & Visitors Bureau, Inc. (Orlando CVB) has named Larry Henrichs chief operations officer and chief financial officer. A certified public accountant, Henrichs began his 13-year career with the Orlando CVB as the director of finance in 1994. This promotion marks Henrichs' third since joining the organization. He was promoted to vice president of finance and administration in 1998. In 2005, Henrichs' leadership and increasing strategic operations responsibilities were recognized with a promotion to senior vice president of finance and operations/CFO. In his new role, Henrichs assumes responsibility for administrative supervision of the human resources and member services departments of the Orlando CVB as well as overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the organization.
Prior to joining the Orlando CVB, Henrichs served as chief financial officer for a publishing company and senior audit manager at Arthur Andersen & Co. He is a member of both the American and Florida Institutes of Certified Public Accountants.
