Villa Group Selects New Hotel Manager

SAN DIEGO, CA, May 29, 2007. The Villa Group has announced the appointment of key personnel in Nuevo Vallarta and Puerto Vallarta. In Nuevo Vallarta, Sergio Nu~nez has been named Hotel Manager for the company's 245-suite Villa La Estancia Beach Resort & Spa Nuevo Vallarta. Nu~nez will be responsible for daily operations of the new beach front resort overlooking Banderas Bay in Riviera Nayarit.

Nu~nez joins the property following responsibilities as Operations Manager of the Paradise Village Resort in Nuevo Vallarta. He previously served in management capacities with The Ritz-Carlton Hotels and Marriott International in the U.S. Virgin Islands, Chile and Per'u.

"Sergio is joining The Villa Group and Villa La Estancia Nuevo Vallarta, at a very exciting time," remarked Carlos Aquino, Corporate Director of The Villa Group Resorts Vallarta. "We know that Sergio's expertise and solid experience will be a tremendous asset as Hotel Manager of our newest property. We're glad to have him on our Vallarta team."

With 50 of the phase one suites currently open and food and beverage outlets scheduled to open in November, Villa La Estancia Nuevo Vallarta is on target for a grand opening in May 2008. Each of the one-, two- and three-bedroom units is stylishly decorated with marble floors, granite countertops, whirlpool tub, walk-in shower, walk-in closet and spacious balconies. Wrought-iron gates open to Hacienda-style entryways where individual doors lead into each unit. Deluxe guest rooms are also available.

All suites feature a complete kitchen with three-stool breakfast bar, full-size refrigerator, four-burner stove top with oven, microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker, dishwasher, garbage disposal, dishes, cookware and utensils.

The Villa Group has also announced the appointment of Claudia Susanna Ghartey to the position of Regional Director of Spas for The Villa Group Resorts Vallarta.

In her new position, Ghartey will oversee all spa operations for the 17,000-square-foot European-style Spa adjacent to Villa del Palmar Flamingos Beach Resort & Spa and Villa La Estancia Beach Resort & Spa situated beachfront in Nuevo Vallarta. She will also be responsible for the Bay Breeze Spa at Villa del Palmar Beach Resort & Spa in Puerto Vallarta.

"We are pleased to welcome Claudia to The Spa at Villa del Palmar Flamingos and to The Villa Group family," said Aquino. "Claudia's extensive background in spa operations makes her a tremendous asset to our company."

Aquino added, "With the upcoming opening of Villa La Estancia and the growing interest in our first class spa facility in Nuevo Vallarta, Claudia is joining us at a time of tremendous growth and excitement."

Ghartey was most recently Spa Director for the Spa Treatment Center at Casa de Campo in the Dominican Republic, where she oversaw group sales, marketing, promotions and purchasing.

She holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Administration from Winterthur, Switzerland, and is a certified esthetician with expertise in health, beauty, nutrition, massage and body treatment.
