Interval Names Region Manager
MAY 23, 2007. Interval International, a leading provider of vacation services and an operating business of IAC (Nasdaq:IACI), announced the appointment of Juan Pablo G'omez as region manager of resort sales and service for Northwest Mexico. He is based in Interval's new office in Los Cabos and reports to Marcos Agostini, region director of resort sales and service for Latin America.
"We are extremely pleased that an individual with Juan Pablo's experience in the Mexican hospitality industry is joining our team," said Agostini. "His thorough understanding of the region will be a real asset to the company, as we continue to develop our business in this important market."
G'omez will oversee Interval's current and future business interests in the States of Baja California, Baja California Sur, and Sonora. Prior to joining Interval, he held several executive level positions in the hospitality industry in Mexico. Most recently, he was property management and vacation rentals division manager for Coldwell Banker Realtors in Los Cabos.
The Cabo office, which allows Interval to expand its service to a rapidly growing client base in the Sea of Cortes area, is the third one in Mexico. Interval has had a presence there for more than 22 years and also has offices in Mexico City and Cancun.
