Radisson SAS Announces Second Dublin Property
DUBLIN, Ireland, September 20, 2005. Radisson SAS Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of a new hotel in Dublin city centre, due for completion in October 2006.
The Radisson SAS Hotel, Dublin will be the second Radisson SAS in the Irish capital with the Radisson SAS St. Helen's Hotel located just 4 km outside the city centre. The new hotel will be located directly in the city centre within walking distance of Dublin Castle, St Stephen's Green and Temple Bar. Facilities will include 161 guest rooms, a restaurant, a lounge, meeting facilities, a state-of-the-art spa and fitness area and residential city centre parking.
Ireland is a key area of growth for Rezidor SAS Hospitality, the umbrella brand for Radisson SAS, Regent and Park Inn. 2005 has already seen the opening of the Radisson SAS Hotel & Spa, Cork and two Park Inns in Dundalk and Mulranny. In addition to the announced development of the new Dublin property in 2006, the Radisson SAS Farnham Resort, Cavan is also due to open.
