Kimpton Names SVP Acquisitions and Development
SAN FRANCISCO, CA, May 7, 2007. Dan Miller, a longtime hospitality development executive, has been named Senior Vice President of Acquisitions and Development at Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, the leader in the fast-growing boutique/lifestyle hotel segment. Miller will be in charge of all acquisitions, management contracts and other development activities in the Southeast and Southwest regions.

Miller joins Kimpton after a successful tenure at Felcor Lodging Trust as Vice President - Capital Transactions. In this role he was responsible for the disposition of 45 assets with market value in excess of $500 million in the past three years.

Miller brings 26 years experience in hotel acquisition, development, disposition, and management. His prior posts include Vice President of Real Estate & Development for Accor North America, Development Director for Embassy Suites, and development and operations positions with Marriott, Laventhol & Horwath and Hyatt Hotels.
Miller holds a master's degree in Business Administration from Southern Methodist University in Dallas and a bachelor's degree in Hotel Administration from Cornell University.
