AmericInn of Mountain Iron/Virginia, Minnesota Named Property of the Year
CHANHASSEN, MN, May 3, 2007. AmericInn concludes 13th annual franchise convention with record attendance and continued momentum for a growing hotel brand. The conference began April 29, 2007 and was held at the Crowne Plaza Riverfront and Roy Wilkins Auditorium in St. Paul, Minnesota. The three-day event drew more than 670 attendees who discovered "The Promise to Delight & The Power to Deliver."
The theme of this year's convention was selected to highlight the people aspect of the AmericInn business. "We provide a product that is different from our competition; because we build every AmericInn to be quieter. We must take our product to the next level. We must promise to delight each guest and we must empower our staff to deliver for every guest," said Arnold Angeloni, CEO of AmericInn International, LLC. New initiatives including the use of an electronic customer relationship management system, electronic brand newsletters and other internet marketing strategies were unveiled during the convention as additional methods of moving the brand forward.
The lineup of keynote speakers included dynamic presentations by Thom Winninger, Clint Swindall, Eric Chester, Jim Niekamp and Calvin Stovall. The power-packed conference provided attendees with the tools to delight guests and not only meet but to exceed their expectations. The trade exhibition hosted by AmericInn Supply and AmericInn Design Services, featured over 120 vendors offering a wide array of industry products and services. Award recognition was given Monday night to individuals and specific AmericInn properties for their continued commitment to the AmericInn brand. Special guest, Walter Fields entertained attendees with a humorous look at hospitality management through the eyes of a 2,000-year old Innkeeper.
The following awards were presented during the AmericInn Annual Convention on April 30, 2007. The awards recognize the continued commitment and success of the AmericInn Lodging System for the year 2006.
