Strategic Names SVP of Capital Projects

MAY 2, 2007. Strategic Hotels & Resorts, Inc. (NYSE:BEE) announced the appointment of John F. Gray as Senior Vice President of Capital Projects. Gray joins the executive team to build and lead the company's project management department.

Gray brings to the company over 40 years of experience in real estate development and project management in more than 30 countries. He was most recently Executive Vice President of Rider Hunt Levett & Bailey, a professional property and construction consultancy. There he was responsible for hospitality and other project development and management operations in the states of Nevada and California.

Gray's major projects at the firm include The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel in Dana Point, CA, the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess in Scottsdale, AZ, the Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel in Santa Monica, CA, the Inn of the Mountain Gods Resort and Casino in Ruidoso, NM, and the Summerlin Resort & Casino and Aladdin Hotel & Casino, both in Las Vegas.
