Jones Lang LaSalle Hires Chief Operating Officer, Americas
APRIL 30, 2007. Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels has named Ted Tomaras chief operating officer of its Americas region.
Based in Chicago, Mr. Tomaras is responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the region's hospitality advisory, asset management, financing, valuation and investment sales services and reports to Arthur Adler, managing director and CEO - Americas based in New York.

With 15 years of experience within the professional services, hospitality, consulting and real estate industries, Mr. Tomaras is aptly suited for his new role. Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels, he held management roles within the financial reporting and investor relations groups of Trizec Properties, Inc, a Chicago-based real estate investment trust where he helped implement accounting policies and analyzed key financial and operating metrics better preparing executive management in developing fully-integrated, appropriate messages for the financial community. He has also held various positions at the Hyatt Corporation and Coopers & Lybrand. Mr. Tomaras is a CPA and holds a bachelor of arts degree in accounting from Michigan State University.
