Portfolio Hotels to Manage Inns of Monterey
APRIL 30.2007. Portfolio Hotels & Resort announced today that they will take over management of the Inns of Monterey located in Monterey, Calif. The group consists of the 105 all-suite Pacific Hotel, 47-room Monterey Bay Inn, 42-room Spindrift Inn and 68-room Victorian Inn.

The elegant Spanish-style, 105 all-suite Pacific Hotel, recently purchased by Portfolio Hotels & Resorts sister company The Harp Group, is located in the heart of downtown Monterey within walking distance of Fisherman's Wharf, Cannery Row and the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Rated four stars by AAA, each suite features a separate sitting area and bedroom along with a fireplace. The property offers 1,750 square feet of executive meeting space and is adjacent to the Monterey Convention Center. A significant room renovation is planned.
The 47-room Monterey Bay Inn, overlooking the bay, offers an oceanfront environment and convenient location to the city's favorite attractions. The lobby and guestrooms have recently undergone a major remodeling. The hotel features two conference rooms along with a massage room and a rooftop, bay-view hot tub.
Located directly on the beach on Cannery Row, the elegant 42-room Spindrift Inn offers guestrooms with wood burning fireplaces, feather beds and marble and brass bathrooms along with many ocean view rooms. The Spindrift was named as a reader's favorite in Departures magazine.
The Victorian Inn is well situated in Monterey's historic Cannery Row. The lobby of this 68-room hotel is set in an original Victorian home that is part of the city's history. Two adjoining buildings house charming guestrooms with fireplaces.
