iVector to Take Tour Operators in a New Direction
THE INTERNET, September 21, 2005. A number of leading tour operators are preparing to switch to a new generation of contracting and pricing software that promises to take the sector in a new direction.
The iVector range of software has been created by intuitive, an innovative IT development house which specialises in the tour operating sector. Intuitive's development team designed the back office systems that have led the market since the early-1990s working with leading companies like Virgin Holidays and My Travel. They've now harnessed the latest technological advances to create an exciting new contracting and pricing product that can meet the demands of the most dynamic tour operator.
The result is the sector's first 100% web-based system which promises to take tour operating software in a new direction and set the standard for all future systems to follow.
Intuitive's Managing Director, Arthur Moulding, said: "We've been developing creative software solutions in tour operating for around fifteen years. Combining that knowledge and experience in a new company and creating iVector is the most exciting project we've ever worked on."
"We've already had substantial interest from a number of major tour operators who want to trial the system and we're confident they'll find it the most comprehensive, effective and affordable product on the market."
"Contracting and pricing are the cornerstones of the industry, which is why we believe iVector will help intuitive tour operators on the way to greater success. And because it's 100% web-based, smaller tour operators can now afford to enjoy all the benefits of a big business system at a fraction of the cost."
The iVector range will be officially launched next month and will be showcased at the Travel Technology Show at the London Olympia in the New Year.
