Sharon Glees Joins Crescent as SVP-HR
WASHINGTON, DC, April 25, 2007. Crescent Hotels & Resorts, a rapidly growing hotel and resort management and ownership company, today announced that Sharon Glees has joined the company as senior vice president of Human Resources. In the new position, she will be responsible for enhancing the company's service culture across its diverse portfolio of managed and owned hotels.

Glees will be responsible for Crescent's human capital strategy which includes the company's culture, benefits administration, leadership development, recruitment, career pathing, compensation/incentive plans, human resources management, conferences, reward and recognition.
Glees' human resources experience includes eight years with Marriot Corporation, where she was active in the opening of new hotels. She is the former vice president of human resources of Sutton Place Group, an upscale grocery store chain and restaurant company with 17 business units. She was vice president, human capital of AmeriChoice Health Services, a provider of health care programs to more than one million people. Most recently, she was vice president of human resources for the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.

Glees holds a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management from George Mason University. She also is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
