LONG BEACH, CA, February 11, 2008. The Palms Casino Resort, heralded as one of Las Vegas' hippest destination venues, has recently named PSAV(R) Presentation Services its sole audiovisual and event technology partner.

Support will come by way of providing high-speed client-network services throughout the property's more than 60,000 square feet of meeting and convention space, and audiovisual / event technology services for corporate, social and association events. The company also is in the process of transitioning the Palms' business center to a PSAV event-technology center - a new concept that blends private meeting rooms, high-tech workstations and a technology concierge with soft seating in a more public setting, such as an Internet caf'e. In addition, resort-wide shipping and receiving will be orchestrated by PSAV.

As the leading supplier of audiovisual and event technology to hotels, associations, producers and meeting planners, PSAV provides presentation services and support to more than 800 luxury hotels, resorts and conference centers worldwide.

Bill Kairis, The Palms director of sales who has been instrumental in coordinating the network and equipment installation, said the company's ability to serve as a true one-stop-shop on-site technology provider and its commitment to customer service are two of the main reasons The Palms decided to partner with PSAV.

Kairis said that PSAV's on-site experts ensure that technology support is seamless throughout an event planners' stay. PSAV recently completed a complex $100,000-plus rigging system in the new Fantasy Tower ballroom, and is utilizing new line-array sound systems, 12K high-output projectors for ballroom functions, and Bose tower speakers in select guest suite functions.
