FEBRUARY 21, 2008. Azul Hotels by Karisma, a premier collection of Gourmet Inclusive(R) properties located throughout the Riviera Maya, Mexico, today introduced the new Azul View Hotel by Karisma - scheduled to open in October 2008. The Gourmet Inclusive property, whereby guests savor every detail of their environment, will bring together spacious facilities with unlimited activities and services featuring a variety of gourmet cuisine, chic restaurant and lounge areas, swim-up cantinas, a Zen-inspired spa, high-tech meeting spaces and more.

Located along the beautiful Bahia Petempich in the Riviera Maya, Azul View will offer families, couples, wedding parties and groups the chance to reconnect under the sun with a variety of unique amenities, including the following highlights:

o "Le Chique" Restaurant & Lounge - This adults-only restaurant and lounge will put pleasure back into the dining experience with imaginative cocktails, astonishing culinary presentation and tantalizing desserts. Options include the notable eight-course "Author's Dinner," whereby each course creates a new memory. A perfect mix of black, purple and silver d'ecor will create an elegant yet contemporary atmosphere for all.

o Luxury 2 + 3 = Family - Perfect for families and destination wedding parties, Azul View Family Jacuzzi Suite and Family Jacuzzi Ocean View Suite rooms will comfortably sleep two adults and three children, or three adults and one child, with guaranteed connecting rooms for groups traveling together. All suites will offer a private queen-sized bedroom area, a double sofa bed and one single sofa bed.

o Premium Jacuzzi Swim-Up Suites - Brand new to Azul Hotels by Karisma, guests of Azul View's Premium Jacuzzi Swim-Up Suites will soak up luxury in private indoor and outdoor Jacuzzis, the latter of which connects to a lazy river crossing just one step outside the suite's oversized oceanfront balcony. The lazy river leads to the main pool and a lush, swim-up bar. These rooms accommodate two adults and two children comfortably, or three adults and one child.

o Teen's Club - Complete with state-of-the-art interactive gaming areas, the Azul View Teen's Club is a hip, low-key zone for teens 13 to 17 years old to take in the "night life" and get some time away from their elders. Club features include high-speed Internet stations, air hockey, billiards, a daily activities program, nightly entertainment, a discotheque, Wii, Guitar Hero, NEOS and more. Teens can also enjoy a wide variety of non-alcoholic beverages and savory snacks at the club's "Teen Corner," open until 1:00 a.m.

o Wrap-Around Honeymoon Balconies - Designed exclusively for the Azul View Honeymoon Ocean Front Jacuzzi Suites, these oceanfront balconies will encircle the suite and hold plush lounge beds, providing a romantic outdoor oasis and oceanfront view for honeymooners looking to indulge in private downtime.

In addition, Azul View comprises 438 spacious suites in 12 different categories, including Jacuzzi Junior Suite, Luxury Jacuzzi Swim-Up Suite, Presidential and more. Room interiors will be stylishly designed in contemporary Caribbean fashion that speaks in dark wood accents and canopy beds. All accommodations include air conditioning, 32-inch plasma TVs, DVD players, hydro jet Jacuzzis, daily stocked mini-bars, deluxe bathrobes, vanity mirrors, iPod docking station and private marble bathrooms with rain forest showers.

Alternative cuisine options at Azul View comprise "Spoon," a gourmet, open kitchen environment with interactive cooking stations; "Tapaz," a cutting-edge restaurant that welcomes meal customization and chef/guest interaction; "Sienna," a Tuscan restaurant marked by genuine Italian flavors and splendid wines; "Zavaz," an eye-catching Caribbean bistro and lounge; and "Zocalo," a seaside Mexican restaurant and cantina serving a vibrant selection of authentic meals and music. Visitors will also enjoy the variety of bars and lounges at Azul View including Mojito Lounge (featuring 31 Mojito flavors), Rooftop Garden Lounge and Swim-up Wave Bar.

Additional amenities include a 10,000 sq. foot Zen-inspired spa and fitness center with 11 treatment suites, including a VIP couple's massage room, hydrotherapy areas, on-site bridal and kids suites, weight training systems, cardio equipment, wedding packages, a relaxation lounge and a steam and sauna room. The property also boasts 4,300 sq. feet of high-tech meeting space for up to 345 people. Accommodations at Azul View range from $187 to $560 (excluding Presidential Suites), including the Gourmet Inclusive experience. Rates are per person, per night. The property will begin accepting reservations in February for stays starting October.
