IHG Appoints Regional VPO,North America
Promotes Ronen Nissenbaum
FEBRUARY 28, 2008. Based out of the corporate IHG office in Atlanta and reporting to Lew Fader, vice president operations, InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, North America, Nissenbaum is responsible for overseeing and driving the performance of 14 hotels in the North American portfolio.
In this new position, Nissenbaum will focus his operational expertise on supporting his portfolio of hotels as well as their owners.
"Ronen brings a wealth of relevant experience to his new role, which, along with his strong leadership, will be crucial as we continue to grow the InterContinental brand in the North American region," said Fader.
Ronen began his career with IHG in 1996 as hotel manager at the InterContinental Paris and then became the general manager in Berlin and Tel-Aviv. He then transferred to Atlanta where he successfully opened InterContinental Buckhead and shortly thereafter, became RVPO for the South East Region.
