Hotel Equities Promotes Alan Bennett to SVP and CFO
ATLANTA, GA, February 28, 2008. Atlanta-based Hotel Equities (HE) recently promoted Alan Bennett and added the responsibilities and title of Senior Vice President to his position as the company's Chief Financial Officer. His full title is now Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
Mr. Bennett's focus at the hotel development and management company is strategic business growth and development. His responsibilities include interaction with the capital markets and management of the finance, accounting and information technology systems for the firm's corporate operations and the 24 hotels presently in the firm's portfolio.

Hotel Equities tapped Mr. Bennett to take over the responsibilities of CFO for the firm more than a year ago. Since that time, Hotel Equities has increased its portfolio by eight hotels through construction, acquisition and the addition of third party management contracts. The company also has contractual commitments for an additional eight hotels that are scheduled to come online over the next 12 to 18 months.
Mr. Bennett is a graduate of Georgia State University with a B.B.A. in Accounting. He and his wife Lynne, both Atlanta natives, are the parents of three teenage children. An avid golfer, Mr. Bennett also enjoys water activities such as boating and jet skiing. He and his family reside in Norcross. ###
