Trump Entertainment Comments on Strategic Plan
APRIL 7, 2008. In response to inquiries, Trump Entertainment Resorts, Inc. (NASDAQ: TRMP) (the "Company") noted that the company remains focused on its strategic plan for operating, and improving performance at, all of its casino hotels, including completing the new tower at the Trump Taj Mahal. The company also looks at opportunities to sell one or more of its other properties and, from time to time, engages in discussions with third parties regarding proposals to acquire company properties. As the Company has previously stated, the Company might pursue such a transaction if presented with an offer that our board of directors determines to be in the best interests of shareholders. At this time, the company is not party to any agreement to sell any of its casino hotel properties.
