Rezidor Announces Park Inn Manchester Old Trafford
APRIL 10, 2008. The Rezidor Hotel Group (STO:REZT) announces a new property in Manchester, UK - the Park Inn Manchester Old Trafford (226 rooms) which is scheduled to open in Q2 2010.
With this signing, the group's footprints in the UK & Ireland grow to 64 hotels and almost 11,000 rooms, and the total Park Inn portfolio in Europe, the Middle East and Africa grows to 116 hotels in operation and under development with almost 20,500 rooms.

The new property will be located just 10 minutes from the city centre and 20 minutes from the international airport. The vicinity of the building also features the Lowry, a combined theatre and gallery complex, Trafford Park Industrial Estate with more than 1,400 companies, the Imperial War Museum, one of the most talked about museums in Britain today, and Media City, a massive complex at Salford Quays.
Besides 226 guest rooms the 11-storey hotel will comprise a restaurant, a bar, meeting facilities and a gym.
