Travel Professionals Begin Designation Program at NBTA Canada Event
More than 150 have Taken Canadian Business Travel Fundamentals Course
MAY 1, 2008. The National Business Travel Association Canada (NBTA Canada) -- the leading provider of education and professional resources for corporate travel professionals in Canada -- yesterday held an Education Day in Montreal at which 21 corporate travel professionals took the Canadian Fundamentals of Business Travel Management course. More than half of participants were travel managers, or corporate travel buyers. The course taught by NBTA Vice President Michael W. Lyons, CCTE.
Attendees are now eligible to take the Corporate Travel Expert (CTE) exam, and those who successfully complete the exam will earn the professional designation CTE, which demonstrates the holder has a fundamental understanding of the principles and practice of travel management.
To date more than 150 Canadian business travel professionals have taken the Fundamentals of Business Travel Management/CTE course.
The program is a version of the Fundamentals of Business Travel Management course offered by NBTA, the parent organization of NBTA Canada, with content tailored for the Canadian market.
