Educational Institute Offers CHA, CLM Exams Online
ORLANDO, FL, May 14, 2008. The American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute (EI) now offers hoteliers the option of taking the Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) and Certified Lodging Manager (CLM) exam online.
The secure, online exam offers certification candidates greater convenience and provides them with immediate results, as well as a printable assessment showing results by subject area. Additionally, candidates can take a sample test to familiarize themselves with the online process before they take the actual exam.
"Having exams available on-line has been a real break-through for Professional Certification," said Barbara Blankenship, EI's senior director of professional certification. "We have been searching, with assistance from HFTP, to find the right software that would give us the security to protect the integrity of the exam, provide instant and high level feedback to each candidate, along with making the testing process easier for the busy hotelier. Our goal is to have all of our management level and department head certification exams on-line by the fourth quarter of the year."
Hoteliers who enroll in either the CHA or CLM program by June 10, 2008, and opt to take the online exam will receive 25 percent off the price of certification. The fee includes the study guide for the designation, online exam access, immediate results with printable assessment, and certificate and lapel pin for successful candidates.
Prices for this limited offer (reference promo code CHCEX) are:
