Waterford Promotes Carol Secondino to Regional Hotel Director
MAY 16, 2008. Waterford Hotel Group has announced the appointment of Carol Secondino as regional hotel director for the national hotel management firm. In her new position, Secondino is responsible for overseeing the operations of several Waterford Hotel Group properties including developing and maintaining relationships with ownership and franchise partners, budgeting, associate development, guest satisfaction scores, maintaining Waterford and brand service standards, and the overall performance of the hotels.
Since joining Waterford in 1990, Secondino has filled numerous hotel positions, allowing her to gain comprehensive hospitality experience and a keen understanding of Waterford practices. She served as general manager at a number of Waterford properties over the past 10 years, including her most recent role as general manager of the Residence Inn by Marriott in Southington, CT. Secondino and her team have received numerous awards and accolades, including the Marriott Residence Inn Platinum Hotel Award and the Marriott's Diamond General Manager Award. In 2006, under her direction, the hotel was rated #1 out of all 499 Residence Inn hotels in the Marriott system based on the reporting of a weekly guest satisfaction survey. Additionally, Secondino has been recognized by Waterford Hotel Group with a number of top performance awards over the years.
