Miami to Host TIA's Internation Pow Wow 2009

Greater Miami Convention & Visitor's Bureau (GMCVB) in partnership with VISIT FLORIDA and The Travel Industry Association will host a press conference to announce Miami as the future host city for the next International Pow Wow Show taking place May 16 -20, 2009.

WHY:
Miami's growing stature as an arts destination coupled with the city's unprecedented hotel development, upgraded attractions and tourism infrastructure upgrades provides an ideal backdrop for the travel industry's premier international marketplace.
More than 1,000 travel organizations from every region of the United States and close to 1,500 international and domestic buyers from more than 70 countries around the world conduct business negotiations at Pow Wow that generate more than $3.5 billion in future Visit USA travel. The event is sponsored by the Travel Industry Association (TIA).
