JUNE 10, 2008. Choice Hotels International, Inc. (NYSE: CHH) continues to grow with the announcement of 49 newly-opened franchised properties during the month of May. The openings include hotels in 23 states and four countries, adding more than 4,500 rooms to the company's existing 455,000-plus rooms. Select properties that opened in May include:

Comfort Suites Hobby Airport

This 59-suite Comfort Suites hotel, a 100 percent non-smoking property, is conveniently located just minutes from downtown Houston and steps from the William P. Hobby Airport, providing easy access to several local attractions such as Texas Southern University, the Houston Zoo, Reliant Stadium and Moody Gardens amusement park. The new all-suites hotel features free full hot breakfast, seasonal outdoor pool and whirlpool/hot tub with waterfall, free wireless high-speed Internet access, exercise room, free airport shuttle service and meeting/banquet facilities.
