Destination to Launch Ramada Resort in Phuket
Destination Properties Co., Ltd. today announced plans to open the Ramada Resort Karon Beach, Phuket
OCTOBER 26, 2006. The 121-room resort, situated at Karon Beach -- the second largest and most upscale of Phuket's beaches -- is being refurbished as a family resort destination and is scheduled to open in November in time for the upcoming holiday season.
Formerly the Felix Hotel, it will become Phuket's new family oriented, 4-star resort. The main restaurant, Joe Kool's, will be a 1960s-style rock & roll diner serving hamburgers, French fries, and pizza. The Kidz Club will include Movie Time Theatre, Playstation Zone, Climbing wall, Science Lab, and Cooking Center for kids. The outdoor Magical Castle will feature a huge water-slide and Castle Restaurant & Grill and the resort's 'bottomless' ice cream machine for kids all day long.
Ramada Resort Karon Beach, Phuket will feature 14 rooms in various adventure themes including the Spaceship room, the Underwater Submarine room and the Castle Room. All rooms have been renovated and feature 25-inch TVs. Most also feature an in-room Toy Box for kids. Hotel features include spa treatment beds, the Siam Adventure Club and World News Coffee.
