NYU's Preston Robert Tisch Center Faculty Join AAHOA

Annual Leadership Conference

ATLANTA, GA, October 31, 2006. The Asian American Hotel Owners Association will host its annual leadership conference on November 10-11, 2006, at the Sofitel Hotel in Miami, Florida. This conference is free to all members and comprises one of many professional development opportunities that AAHOA offers its members throughout the year.

Faculty from the prestigious NYU Preston Robert Tisch Center will conduct seminars, while leading franchise expert Robert Zarco will be on hand to deliver the luncheon address. Associate Dean and HVS International Professor Dr. Lalia Rach, from the Tisch Center will open the conference with a discussion on "Leadership for the Future." Then leadership application seminars begin with topics such as "The Power of the Brand," "Technology: Panning for Profit and Productivity," People Before Policies: Making the Right Changes," and "From Globalization to Localization: Making Emerging Markets Work for You." These seminars will run throughout the day so that each member may attend and receive credit for attending all four.
