"Born 2B Wild" Viva Vision at 2008 Las Vegas BikeFest
Fremont Street Experience Debuts October 2
LAS VEGAS, NV, September 29, 2008. - The Fremont Street Experience gets its wheels in motion for the 8th Annual Las Vegas BikeFest beginning Thursday, October 2 - Saturday, October 4. The expansive five-block entertainment complex will feature the debut of the new Viva Vision show, "Born 2B Wild," followed by a 2-hour concert by gritty rockers the Culture Killers.
"Born 2B Wild" marks Fremont Street Experience's third Viva Vision show to debut this year. Other successful additions include "A Tribute to Queen" and "Don McLean's American Pie." Known as the Biggest Big Screen on the Planet(R), Viva Vision's canopy rises 90 feet above the ground and stretches the length of five football fields. The nightly sound and light shows are free and begin at dusk. All three new Viva Vision shows will play nightly throughout the year at Fremont Street Experience.
The 2008 BikeFest brings three days of entertainment to Fremont Street with The Culture Killers, performing down and dirty rock 'n' roll hits including their own rendition of Steppenwolf's classic "Born to be Wild," also featured in the Viva Vision debut; Yellow Brick Road, recreating the signature sounds of rock's biggest acts from Pink Floyd to Queen; Fandango, with a play-list of ZZ Top favorites; Cash'd Out, the premier Johnny Cash tribute band; and Kelly J, singing top country favorites.

The BikeFest starts at 6 p.m. on Thursday, October 2. All are invited to ride downtown and enjoy the feel-good sounds of great music while surrounded by the iconic neon lights of the Fremont Street Experience. All concerts are free and open to the public and parking is available at the Fremont Street Experience parking garage located at Carson and 4th Streets.
The Fremont Street Experience is a five-block entertainment complex located in historical downtown Las Vegas. In 1995, Fremont Street was closed to vehicular traffic and a giant screen was suspended 90-feet over the street to display spectacular light and sound shows on its 1,500 foot surface.
