3 Palms Brand Adding New Properties

OCTOBER 8, 2008. The popularity of the new "3 Palms" brand for upscale independent and condo-hotel properties continues to grow with signed agreements that will add two properties to its portfolio.

The two hotels are a 76-room new construction in Dothan, Alabama, which is expected to open in September of 2009 and a 60-room conversion in Madison, Indiana, which is expected to open in November of 2008.

"Our upscale lodging system is moving ahead in a positive manner as word-of-mouth recommendations are spreading within both the hotel and time-share industries," said Doug Collins, chairman and CEO of Atlanta-based America's Best Franchising Incorporated, which also operates two of the country's leading upper economy hotel brands - America's Best Inns & Suites and Country Hearth Inns & Suites.

"Our delivered reservations have exceeded expectations - and properties joining 3 Palms especially like the flexibility of using either the 3 Palms name or retaining their current name and adding a tagline that describes the property as a 3 Palms hotel."

Announced in March, the 3 Palms brand is a group of established upscale independent and condo-hotel properties which are located primarily in resort destinations and are rated three-diamond AAA or higher. Currently, four properties are open in central Florida.

Benefits of the 3 Palms brand for owners include sophisticated internet marketing services, aggressive brand support, and a simple, affordable fee structure of $25 per unit per month plus 7% of gross reservation revenues delivered.

Benefits of the brand for travelers include attractive rates for dependable accommodations at full-service resort destinations which feature modern amenities and luxurious furnishings.
