. October 27, 2008

OCTOBER 27, 2008. Quickly becoming one of Italy's most prestigious hospitality groups, Ragosta Hotels Collection recently named King Roselli Architetti as the architectural firm of record for its Palazzo Montemartini hotel, as announced by Gianluca Giglio, Group General Manager. The 96-room property, scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2010 in Central Rome, will be a conversion of a late 19th century palace to a five-star boutique hotel. The hotel's design will marry the classic elements of marble, stucco and an antique facade with a contemporary, high-tech style synonymous with a modern hotel.

Founded in 1997, King Roselli Architetti is a Rome-based architectural and design firm offering services from conception to development of both pre-existing and new buildings. The organization, which focuses primarily on exteriors and interiors of hotels, is known for high-quality modern design incorporated throughout each aspect of the development process. Current and past works include Rome's Es Hotel, the Holiday Village in Cefal`u for Club M'editerran'ee and the Lateran University Library extension. "With its proven track record for exceptional design and architectural work, we are confident King Roselli Architetti will allow Palazzo Montemartini to set the new standard among luxury boutique hotels in Rome," said Gianluca Giglio. "Similar to other members of the Ragosta Hotels Collection, this new hotel will feature an innovative architecture and design concept that embraces the area in which the hotel resides."

Ragosta Hotels Collection, a unique compilation of luxury hotels situated throughout some of Italy's most idyllic and sought after locations, was created in 2006 by Mr. Fedele Ragosta, a successful entrepreneur and owner of several successful companies in Italy.

The newly renovated 77-guestroom Hotel Raito, the flagship hotel of the Ragosta Hotels Collection, offers some of the most extraordinary panoramic views of the Bay of Salerno, along with superior guestrooms and suites, meeting facilities, spa and restaurants. In addition, Ragosta Hotels Collection is set to open the 61-room La Plage Resort, the first luxury boutique resort complex in Taormina, Sicily, in spring 2009. The island in which La Plage Resort is located on is a nature reserve and is protected environment for local fauna and flora. The nearby Isola Bella is considered one of the most beautiful islands in the region. With extraordinary views of the sea, the resort will offer luxurious and stylish guestrooms and suites, whirlpools, water sports, Beach Club, fine dining restaurants, spa and a host of amenities and services. Perhaps the most exciting of upcoming Ragosta projects is a conversion of a palace in central Rome to a luxury boutique hotel, Palazzo Montemartini, which will feature 96 elegant guestrooms and suites, gourmet restaurants, private courtyards, lounge bars and the exclusive Expure SPA. The project is slated for completion in early 2010.
