. November 17, 2008

NOVEMBER 17, 2008. The Caribbean resort is located on 3.5 acres of glorious coconut-lined beachfront property. Nelson Spring features 24 expansive and luxurious one, two, three and four bedroom villas, which appeal to families, couples, independent travelers and small groups.

The resort is named after British Admiral Lord Horatio Nelson who watered his ships from the Nevis spring during the 1700s. This unspoiled fresh water spring is active today and host to the snowy egret, blue heron and many other birds.

Nelson Spring's villas are designed to offer dramatic views of the Caribbean Sea and the neighboring island, St. Kitts, with their wall-to-wall sliding glass doors and spacious verandahs, Egyptian marble tiles are found throughout the living space. Back decks afford guests stunning views of the dormant volcano, Nevis Peak, flat screen TVs and state-of-the-art kitchens make guests feel at home.

A world-class spa, Spa Nevis, is located in a two-story building with five treatment rooms overlooking a private outdoor tranquility garden. Spa Nevis features pampering massages, facials, body treatments, as well as relaxing yoga sessions. The resort also features tennis, air conditioned fitness center, and an infinity pool with swim up pool bar.

Former member of the Four Seasons Resort Nevis' culinary team, Wendy Brear, will provide signing privileges to her acclaimed Deli by Wendy to resort guests. And, Chef Ricky Finch's award-winning Coconut Grove restaurant -- the only restaurant with a wine cellar on island and place to find draught beers -- will offer artfully prepared French fusion cuisine to resort guests. His restaurant is near the resort too.

"We are proud to announce our newest member of Elite Island Resorts, Nelson Spring Beach Villas & Spa. Guests will find Nevis the ideal escape and enjoy warm, caring service under the direction of general manager Jan Grell-Hull at this very special Caribbean locale on Nevis," says Steven E. Heydt, Elite Island Resorts president.
