GENEVA, October 14, 2005. Concorde Hotels & Resorts, the prestigious collection of 70 luxury hotels, is set to announce it's latest openings in Berlin and Geneva at this years World Travel Market. Additionally the company will be launching its 2006 World Directory and introducing the new UK chief.

Work on the five-star deluxe H^otel Concorde Berlin will complete just weeks before World Travel Market, and the hotel will open in the heart of the city on the 1st November 2005. The hotel enjoys a superb location in the heart of Berlin on the renowned Kurfustendamm, convenient for business, shopping, theatres and restaurants.

Marie-Beatrice Lallemand, Chief Operations Officer for Concorde Hotels, comments on the Berlin opening: "The H^otel Concorde in Berlin has been an exciting project for us and reflects the development strategy in Europe that we have for Concorde, to be present in major European cities. The hotel combines the tradition of service synonymous with the Concorde brand in a contemporary, cutting edge environment with a pleasing combination of French and German cultures."

The H^otel de la Paix in Geneva, on the shores of Lake Leman initially opened its doors for guests in 1910 and has been closed for restoration for much of 2005. Set to re-open this winter under the Concorde umbrella, the hotel offers a unique contemporary style, whilst keeping many of the classical aspects of the original hotel, which was built in 1865.

Concorde will also be using the show to unveil its 2006 World Directory, which will include details of all new and refurbished hotels within the company's portfolio, as well as giving details for individual and group reservations and special travel agent GDS information.

World Travel Market 2005 will be a first representing Concorde Hotels for Elaine McCormack, who was appointed in September to the role of regional director of sales and marketing for UK, Ireland & Scandinavia.

McCormack has more than 15 years of combined experience in the hotel industry, especially in the MICE segment and says of her forthcoming appearance at WTM, "I am delighted to have joined such a prestigious group as Concorde Hotels and am excited by the prospect of attending World Travel Market and meeting with clients to increase brand awareness of the group."
