Douglas E. Artusio, Chairman and CEO of Dellisart Lodging, Receives Dean's Award from Niagara Univer
ALPHARETTA, GA, October 18, 2005. Officials of Dellisart Lodging, a hotel ownership, management, development and acquisition group, today announced that Douglas E. Artusio, chairman and CEO, has received the Dean's Award from Niagara University College of Hospitality and Tourism Management. Artusio is a graduate of Niagara University's School of Travel.
"I have long felt that by giving back to institutions of higher learning, we lay the necessary groundwork that later translates into a high level of professionalism and commitment to our industry," Artusio said. "It's an honor to be recognized by my alma mater. Artusio was honored for his personal involvement in university activities, including educating and interacting with students, developing internships, speaking in classes and participating in the college's annual Alumni Career Days program.

Niagara University offered the world's first bachelor's degree in tourism, which became the 7th accredited tourism program in the country.
