. October 14, 2008

MEXICO CITY, Mexico, October 20, 2005. The 162-suite Embassy Suites Hotel Mexico City - Reforma is scheduled to open mid March 2006 in downtown Mexico City, the hotel's managing partnership, Promotora Paseo de la Reforma S. de RL de CV, announced. 'Promotora' is a joint venture partnership between Mexican company Terra Investments and Trinity Investments, LLC, an international hotel and real estate investment company with offices in San Francisco, New York, Honolulu and Tokyo. The hotel will be operated by Landmark Hotels Group, based in Northern California.

The hotel's address is Paseo de la Reforma No. 69 and is situated on the famous Reforma Avenue. The property is located less than 30 minutes away by taxi from Benito Juarez International Airport and is in the heart of the Mexican capital's main financial, business, government and cultural center.

The hotel's design will feature the Embassy Suites Hotels signature spacious two-room suites. They will include a separate living area with a sofa bed, private bedroom and bath, 32 inch flat screen televisions in each room with English and Spanish language channels, as well as in-suite movies, two dual line phones with voicemail, wireless high-speed Internet access, a wet bar, refrigerator, microwave oven, mini bar, and work desk as well as dining table.

It will also offer the brand's signature complimentary cooked-to-order breakfast as part of the suite rate, as well as the nightly Manager's reception for all registered guests of the hotel. With its size, the Embassy Suites Hotel Mexico City - Reforma will offer a more intimate style of hotel.

In keeping with the brand's atrium concept, the building's conversion has also meant knocking out three levels to create an atrium at the entrance of the hotel, which faces the landmark Christopher Columbus intersection and glorieta (monument) on Reforma Avenue. Floral displays and greenery, as well as a unique water feature, will welcome guests at the atrium area.

The hotel's interiors are designed by CRA Design Consultants (with Fernando de Moraes as principal in charge), a multinational team of architects and designers based in Culver City, California, working together with the hotel's Mexico City-based project team. Its construction company is Repco Construction of Toluca, Mexico.

The hotel's owners are also investing in 'smart' hospitality technology. The Embassy Suites Hotel Mexico City - Reforma will feature state-of-the-art 32-inch flat screen televisions, alarm clock/radios with MP3 player, keycard access to guest suite floors, as well as wireless high-speed internet access in all its suites and public areas. Its Business Center will assist guests with secretarial, translation and internet access, as well as printing and copying requirements. The hotel will also feature the latest in hotel security technology. Concierge, valet parking and tour services will be available. An indoor swimming pool and 24/7 health club with the latest exercise equipment are also part of the services. Besides its complimentary cooked-to-order breakfast, the hotel will feature a restaurant for lunch and dinner, as well as a coffee shop. Guests will also be able to enjoy 24-hour room service.

As part of its intimate style, the Embassy Suites Hotel Mexico City - Reforma features three Executive Boardroom style meeting rooms, with a capacity for 50 persons in each of the uniquely furnished function space. It will also be able to handle small receptions for up to 160 persons when the three rooms are joined.

As the first Embassy Suites Hotel to open in Mexico, the hotel becomes a member of the Hilton Family of hotels. Members of the Hilton HHonors(R) guest reward program can earn both Points & Miles(TM) for the same stay at the hotel. HHonors(R) is the only hotel program that allows any of its members to Double Dip(R) by simultaneously accumulating both airline miles and hotel points with the same stay.
