Lexington Hotel Opens at New Orleans Airport
FEBRUARY 3, 2009 - The Lexington Collection of fine Hotels, Plaza Hotels, and Resorts Worldwide is pleased to announce the February 1 opening of the Lexington Hotel New Orleans Airport. The hotel is located directly across from the Louis Armstrong International Airport and is known as the "Closest Hotel to the Airport".
The four story exterior property offers 166 guest rooms that feature standard king bedded and double bedded rooms (available in smoking and non-smoking). Guests are provided with complimentary high speed wireless Internet and voice mail messaging and other delights for the business and leisure travelers. The hotel has over 2200 square feet of meeting and banquet space available for conference, meeting, and wedding planners.
Guests are encouraged to take advantage of the beautifully landscaped courtyard and outdoor swimming pool, which offers a welcome retreat during the hot summer months. A Denny's Restaurant is adjacent to the property and is open 24 hours as well providing 24 hour room service.
