Cornell Partners With NRA, FRLA on Dean's Leadership Series

ITHACA, NY, February 19, 2009 - Restaurant industry leaders and scholars will address 'Navigating Restaurant Profitability in the New Economy' at a public forum to be held on Monday, March 16th, from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. at Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando, Florida.

The event, part of the Dean's Leadership Series at the Cornell School of Hotel Administration, is being co-sponsored by the National Restaurant Association and the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association, and hosted by Harris Rosen '61, President/COO, Rosen Hotels & Resorts.

Previous Dean's Leadership Series led by Dean Michael Johnson, included hospitality executives, and members of the media held in New York, Nov. 2008

'Some of the best minds in the restaurant industry will talk about what it takes to thrive in these unusually challenging economic times,' said Skip Sack, chairman of Classic Restaurant Concepts and an organizer of the event. 'This will be a great learning opportunity for operators who are looking for ways to enhance their top and bottom lines.'

The event will be moderated by Dean Michael Johnson of the Cornell School of Hotel Administration. A networking reception will follow.
